Question Polymer Strengthening Substance

During a recent experiment, I combined 1-6 Hexanediamine and Sebaclyl Chloride which created Nylon 6,10. Sadly, Nylon 6,10 as this experiment creates it, is simply too weak for practical uses I was looking at. I was looking for some substance that would potentially strengthen the polymer and reduce the time it takes for the polymer to harden. The primary challenge I see is that the chemical reaction only leaves room for 2 hydrogen bond donors. All of that in mind, I was left to scratch my head. Are there any substances that I may just be overlooking, or would a new discovery have to be made to solve my problem?
