Unhappy Determining a VOx/Al2O3 catalyst

Would you be able to help?

I am a chemical engineering student doing a project on the production of Maleic Anhydride from Furfural. For our reaction we have found papers stating the type of catalyst that would be most preferable. It is in the form of VOx/Al2O3, the paper states the best reaction takes pace at 10 atv /nm^2 (the v is a subscript) this gives V a wt% of 8.9%.
Now my mathematical mind thought I would be able to get the x from a few simple equations doing with the molar weight. Well so far I'm coming up with a catalyst that is VO26/Al2O3, now I'm gonna presume that this is wrong.

Please would anyone be able to shine any light on how we find out what number the x is?
I would be very grateful!
Thank you
Lucy
