Two questions about basic chemistry





For the first question, I think it obvious that hydrogen gas evolves, but I'm not sure whether it is endothermic or exothermic, of course, Aluminum is more active than Hydrogen.

As for the second question, I think it was solved by the law:

Concentration1 / number1 = Concentration2 / number2

So,

0.1 / 22 = x / 10 and just solve for x, but I'm not sure

Hydrogen is liberated , reaction exothermic (it gets very hot) ....

From the equation we see one mole of acid reacts with 2 moles sodium hydroxide ...

22ml 0.1 M reacts with 44ml 0.1 M NaOH

But we are told only 10 ml NaOH solution is needed .... so it must be stronger

44/10 stronger ....= 0.44M
