Post Help making Copper Salicylate

Hello. I'm in need of help from some chem geeks . I'm a Home Schooling mama and my 14 year old daughter is learning chem. We are trying to make Copper Salicylate, for a vitamin & mineral supplementation experiment, and all we can find about it, on Wiki, is that it is a mixture of copper sulfate & sodium salicylate. First off is this correct? On another site it says copper chloride & sodium salicylate. Then, what would be the procedure to make our copper salicylate. I have looked high and low for a supplier with no avail. We are needing to make 5oz of finished product. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks
