iso-octane vs cyclohexane
Hello!
I am conducting an experiment on the resistant of serval rubber compounds to jet fuel, specifically "Jet fuel RF" ( 31% Toluene, 34% Cyclohexane, 34% Iso-octane, 1% Di-tret butyl Disulfide.)
Unfortunately, i could not get the required ingredients in a matter of days, in order to make Jet fuel RF.
What i do have, is a standard "Fuel B" which is a mixture of 30% Toluene and 70% Iso-octane.
I was wandering how much of a difference there is between "Fuel B" and "Jet fuel RF" specially because of the added cyclohexane.
Thank you! Amit.
