Stoichiometry Problem
f you reacted 1 mol of aluminum (Al) with 1 mol of iodine gas (I2), what amount of product could be formed? (aluminum’s atomic mass is 26.98 u and the atomic mass for a single iodine atom is 126.90 u). SHOW YOUR CALCULATIONS FOR FULL MARKS (3 points)
2 Al + 3 I2 → 2 Al(I)3
Can someone please tell me where to start with this?! I wouldn't think that any product can be formed but how do I show that?
Thanks in advance for any help I can get!
