    States of water and pressure

Hi! So I'm pretty confused about the effects that pressure has on water. If I increase pressure, I increase the boiling point. Likewise, if I increase pressure I increase temperature. How's that? That's the way air-conditioning works, by increasing pressure on one side and decreasing pressure...

    Exited states

Hello guys. Need to know, is the following state of Tc is excited: [Kr]5s1 4d5 What comes first to lose electrons, a full s of a half full d? I found that: Sr 5p1 = excited Rh 4d7 = ground O [Ne] = ground Sc4s1 3d1 = excited Am I correct? Thanks.

    manganese- oxidation states

As fur as I understand, mangenase appears in the following oxidation states: -3, -2, -1, 1, 2 , 3, 4, 5, 6, 7. I need to find compounds in which the mangenese shows oxidation states of -3, -2, -1. does anybody know of such compounds? thanks
