I need to add .2% of a flavor powder to an amount of milk.
How would I calculate the amount, in grams, of the flavor powder that would be required to go into 8oz of milk.
Thank you.

It's much easier if you keep everything in metric measurements ..

Then one liter of milk (or water) is 1 Kg (1000 gms)

1 cc or 1 ml is 1 gm

So first find the volume or weight of the milk ...8 oz should be about 240 gm or cc or ml

You want to add 0.2% .... so for each 100 gms add 0.2 gms of flavor

for 240gms milk you need 0.48 gms ... not easy to weigh !
